New Momus and an interview with Takako Minekawa!

“Ultra-Loyal Sheepdog”, the newest Turpsycore selection to grace the Momus YouTube channel, is an oddity even amongst oddities – with a video that seems to have been drawn from one of Japan’s innumerable bizarre TV commercials, featuring a polar bear and a girl dressed in what I guess is supposed to be some kind of dog costume, it’s a trip to say the least. And speaking of trippy, the clip for Dustin Wong and Takako Minekawa’s “She He See Feel” is just as bizarre visually – with an excellent new interview from Redefine Magazine talking about the video, song, and Japanese aeshetics in general. It’s a great read, and one hell of a clip in general; highly recommended for anyone who thinks a music video can be more than just a promotional tool to get people to buy the album.
